The Rebel's Rest is meant to be a place for adventurers of all stripes to find comfort, immersion, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're in search of a place to relax and unwind, a good meal you might not have tried before, a stage to perform on, or simply somewhere to spend time in good company, you'll find it here.We welcome scenes for most RP plots: if you need a space for characters to sit and talk about serious matters, we'd be happy to accommodate you!

Our Menu

Micoco has endeavoured to bring premium-quality Ala Mhigan cuisine to La Noscean shores, and welcomes you to try something new! Some ingredients are locally sourced, but for many dishes there really is no substitute for Gyr Abanian cooking.No prices are listed for anything on the menu, but if you are willing to make a donation to keep the lights on and the business running, Micoco accepts all tips. Except from her fellow Ala Mhigans - they dine for free under their countrywoman's roof, no exceptions.Some dishes are particularly spicy. These descriptions may help inform you:
• Mild: Suitable for those looking to try something a little different and feel a small kick.
• Medium: For diners familiar with Gyr Abanian or Thavnairian spices and able to withstand them.
• Hot: A large glass of juice or ale is recommended alongside these, to reduce the chances of breathing fire.
• Extreme: Can and will reduce hardened warriors to tears. You have been warned.

Buckler Stew
A staple of Ala Mhigan cooking, served in a simple soldier's buckler. Spice level: VariableJhammel Moussaka
Marinated jhammel baked with roast veggies and topped with mashed popoto. Spice level: MildBaked Cabbage Rolls
A homemade take on a classic Resistance ration, with wild rice and finely diced onion. Spice level: MildShakshouka
A Thavnairian dish made popular in Ala Mhigo after the liberation reopened trade. Spice level: Medium

Gyr Abanian Leek Sauté
Thick-cut leeks sautéed with garlic, a simple and tasty side dish that goes with anything.Imam Bayildi

Our Staff

Born and raised just outside the city of Ala Mhigo, Micoco Mico grew up a farm girl helping to provide for the city. And then the Garlean Empire changed everything. Rebellious elements were met with force, and the citizens who didn't fight back were subjugated. After many years under the imperial yoke, Micoco escaped, joining an Ala Mhigan Resistance cell and doing her part to contribute to the liberation of Gyr Abania.Though Micoco keeps her Resistance uniform, those days are past her now. She returns to her homeland once a moon, but spends much of her time these days in La Noscea, building herself a new life with a new purpose.Feel free to invite her to join in on conversation during your stay, if she's not busy tending to patrons!

• The Rebel's Rest focuses on immersive RP: we encourage staff and patrons alike to be in-character. We want the Escape to feel like you've just stepped into a part of the world of Final Fantasy XIV.
○ Please use (parantheses) or ((double parantheses)) around out-of-character messages, to clearly differentiate them from in-character action and speech.
○ As a reminder, not everyone will be entirely familiar with roleplaying. We wish to help beginner roleplayers to feel welcomed and encouraged to participate - everyone has to start somewhere!
○ Please be mindful of MSQ spoilers in public chat channels.• Be kind to yourself, other patrons, and the staff. This space is LGBTQIA+ friendly and will treat all peoples fairly. Hate speech and harassment is not acceptable under any circumstance.• While this is an 18+ venue, please keep your conduct safe for work. We allow open discussion of mature topics, and blood may be spilled here if it comes to that. Heavier or sensitive topics may not be acceptable for all present. We urge you to keep in mind the well-being of others.
